1-Arrival and Departure Days
Students should arrive to their host family on the Saturday or Sunday before the course starts and leave the Saturday or Sunday after the course ends. Extra nights are usually available on request. You will be informed about arrival date and time.
2-Airport Transfers
Accommodation Dublin offer an airport transfer service from Dublin Airport to our host families on arrival if required. If students do not book a transfer, students will make their own way to host families. Our accommodation department will inform you about their approximate arrival time.
3-Meals
Provide an adequate continental breakfast each day. Provide a substantial dinner each night and a light lunch at weekends for students who have booked the half-board option. If students are not home by the meal time, their meal should be prepared for them to heat in microwave.
Please note some students may have special dietary requirements. Should this be the case we will inform you at the time of booking.
4-Laundry and Bed Linen
Host families should provide bed linen and but students are encouraged to bring their own towels. Student laundry should be included with the family wash unless special care is required such as hand washing or dry cleaning, in which case, a student should take care of his or her own laundry.
5-Payments
Accommodation Dublin will pay host families. This payment is made by electronic transfer to the account number provided to Accommodation Dublin. Please ensure that you provide us with your IBAN and BIC number to process payments efficiently.
Payments will be made one day before your student arrives. Payments are made every 4 weeks. First payment is always made for one week. If both parties are happy by the end of the first week, rest of the payment will be completed. Rooms booked in host families for extra days, over and above or below will be charged on a nightly basis. In the event that the student does not settle in the chosen home, the student may request a change of family or may have to cut their stay short. In such instances the host family will be paid accordingly for the number of nights of their visit at a daily.
